They say that you’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with – so think about that. Who are your closest five friends, including your spouse? Do they raise you up or do they drag you down? Do your five friends help you grow or are they trying to keep you at their level.
Most really successful people agree, if you want to lose weight, hang out with healthy people, if you want to think big and bold, hang out with people who think that way. Peter Diamandis, author of the Abundance notes that, “If you want to operate with an abundant, exponential mindset, then hang out with people who abhor scarcity and linear thinking…”
They also say, you are what you eat – you are also what you listen to, what you watch, what you read. That’s the point of this post – if you surround yourself with negative…well, you know. Find happy people, watch happy movies, listen to happy music – be a happy person.
